Art Show: Mike Soloman at Tight Rope Winery

Mike Soloman, Vancouver based artist, specializing in figurative/visionary oil paintings.

His work has been exhibited throughout North America for the past 20 years.  Most recently in Antigua West Indies and Kimoto Gallery in Vancouver.

The work carries a surrealist visionary quality infused with musical undertones, in a mostly muted palette where loose realism slides into the abstract. The deep narratives blend old world themes and dreamlike landscapes.

He is currently writing music and creating art with “6 Minute Escape” for an upcoming modern day opera called “Lesedi.” Combining my visual style with music this piece tells a story of awakening into personal sovereignty.
