Earth Day: Our Power, Our Planet Penticton on Lakeshore Drive
Earth Day April 22, 2025, is the 55th Anniversary of people fighting for climate solutions for a better planet for our grandchildren.
Seniors are worried about wildfires and smoke, floods, droughts, extreme heat, and food shortages. We are worried about soaring costs for insurance, evacuations, and healthcare due to climate events. We are worried about the world we are leaving to our grandchildren.
We can build a better, climate – safe community for all.
South Okanagan children, families, and local artists crafted ropes of Climate Prayer Flags to make a Chain of Hope for Climate from the Sicamous towards the Peach.
Penticton is rallying 10AM April 22, Tuesday, a ProD Day for Penticton students, at the SS Sicamous on Lakeshore Dr with seniors, youth, children, and everyone to show our dedication to creating a healthier planet. Every person is affected by climate change.
