Join us at the District Wine Village on June 20 & 21 and help Gather Bookshop fill The Travelling Library. The Travelling Library delivers stories, learning, and connection to rural communities in the South Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys. With your help we can fill the van with stories that will head directly into the hands of young readers.

With your $10.00 donation, you will receive a bookmark that includes savings on food, drinks, books, gifts and complimentary wine tastings from the participating businesses at The District Wine Village:

Ward’s Wine Country Kitchen, Canter Cellars, Tender Hope Winery, Gneiss Wines, Apricus Cellars, Foolish Wine, Winemaker’s Cut, The Opera Room, Wolf Tree Coffee, and Gather Books & Lovely Things.

Bring your friends, family and young readers to the District Wine Village on June 20 & 21 from 11 – 6 pm. Enjoy a story-walk and craft activity in the adjacent vineyard, hosted by the Oliver Library and Oliver Ambassadors. Enjoy an afternoon with a local musician and all that The District Wine Village has to offer.

You can get a sneak peek of the Traveling Library at the annual Oliver Sunshine Festival Family Days at the Community Park on June 14, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
