A Taste of Eastern Anatolia at Elma

Event Dates:
  • Thu • October 22, 2026 • 6:30 PM
  • Event Cost: $150

Join us at Elma for the fourth evening in our Regional Dinner Series as we explore the bold and deeply rooted cuisine of Eastern Anatolia.

Each dinner in this series explores a different gastronomic region of Türkiye – its traditions, techniques, and the stories carried through its food. These evenings are designed as immersive, guided experiences that go beyond a typical restaurant service.

Shaped by its mountainous geography and harsh climate, where winter temperatures can drop as low as -40 degrees, this region’s cuisine is built on resilience, preservation, and nourishment. Dishes are centered around meat, legumes, dairy, pastries, and endemic herbs, with a strong tradition of preparing for the long winter months.

This dinner will feature a 5-course tasting menu, thoughtfully curated by our Executive Chef, Cenk Akkaya, to reflect the flavors and traditions of the region.

The evening will be enjoyed at communal tables, encouraging conversation, connection, and storytelling – an essential part of Anatolian dining culture.

The evening also includes:
• Rakı tasting to open the evening
• Turkish coffee service with dessert
• House made Acılı Ayran – a savoury spicy yogurt drink
• Guided storytelling throughout the experience

This intimate experience has only 20 seats available.
Ticket price is per person and inclusive of all taxes and gratuity.
