William Prince (born 1986) is a Canadian folk and country singer-songwriter from Peguis First Nation, Manitoba. A direct descendant of Chief Peguis, he was shaped early by his father — a musician and preacher — travelling with him to play gigs across northern Manitoba. Since his 2015 debut Earthly Days, he has released five albums and earned multiple Juno Awards, Canadian Folk Music Awards, and a Grand Ole Opry appearance in 2023. Known for his warm, deeply rooted songwriting, he is widely regarded as one of Canada’s finest roots artists.
