A public presentation on the future of forest management in B.C. is coming to Penticton June 6.
Jennifer Houghton will present the New Forest Act framework – a citizen-developed proposal to replace the current forestry framework with an approach that protects watersheds, restores degraded forests, and supports long-term economic stability.
Across B.C., communities are facing wildfire risk, water concerns, and uncertainty in the forest sector. This presentation lays out a clear, practical path forward.
