Twinkling lights. Clinking glasses. Crackling fire pits. A little holiday magic is on its way to the Naramata Bench.
The festive cheer cranks up a notch later this month with the return of Naramata Bench Winterfest, taking place Friday, Nov. 20 (3-7 p.m.) and Saturday, Nov. 21 (12-7 p.m.). No tickets or reservations required. Simply arrive and unwind.
More than 30 wineries, cideries and distilleries will be participating, transforming the Bench into a playground filled with surprises around every corner.
As you make your way from one stop to the next, you’ll discover sparkling lights, cozy fire pits, complimentary tastings, seasonal treats, shopping opportunities, and special experiences created just for the weekend.

More than wine tastings
This isn’t your average tasting tour. Several stops are serving up special seasonal pairings, from wine and fondue to wine and cheese experiences, winter-inspired bites, and charcuterie boxes perfect for sharing. Look for chocolate and wine pairings, sparkling wine paired with handcrafted treats, and even a few festive cocktails along the way.

Come hungry
Participating locations are serving everything from pulled pork sandwiches and Dutch comfort food to soups, small bites, hot chocolate and other seasonal favourites.
Cross a few names off your shopping list
From limited-release wines and library vintages to gourmet treats, artisan products and unique gift ideas, Winterfest is the perfect excuse to get a head start on holiday shopping while supporting local businesses.

Expect the unexpected
Part of the fun is discovering unique experiences at every stop. Meet winery owners, enter festive giveaways, enjoy holiday-themed pairings, snap a photo at a holiday selfie station, or simply settle in beside a fire and enjoy the magic of the season.

Plan your Winterfest adventure
Grab your mittens, gather your friends and get ready to toast the start of the holiday season.
You may want to consider booking a driver or transportation service. With so many delicious stops to discover, you’ll enjoy the experience much more when someone else is behind the wheel.
